Luca Stefano, aka Damascvs, is a Cape Town-based producer who has been layering fat bass synths on top of chopped-up drums for a minute. "Before that, I was making beats for rapping over." Since then, he's been dropping heat on Cape Town dancefloors for years. Luca is a local legend, with many monikers. His DAMASCVS project pushes boundaries as its chunky production puts a bassbin to work.
